~Medina Lake and more friends~

We have been staying at Thousand Trails Medina Lake for the last week.  If you can believe it......this is the lake!!!!  Or rather.......dust bowl - there is NO water in it.  It really was incredible to see it, but oh so sad for all the lake front home owners, tube and boat rental companies, hotels, lodges etc.....

 Our park is FULL of deer.  Normally we are trying to chase them out our orchard at home, but here - they are so sweet!!!   People here feed them "deer corn" and the sites are full of them.  They sleep under the trailers and come up SO close.

 There literally are hundreds of them!

 We have enjoyed all the activities here at this park.  Yesterday the kids did "Wacky Golf" with Alice, the wonderful Activity co-ordinator here at this Thousand Trails park.

 She had a huge tub of lego which was used frequently too!

Here we are playing "card bingo" - very fun!

And then "craft time" with Alice!   We basically had her "all to ourselves" this week as there weren't that many kids around.

 Check out those jelly bean lips - the wrapping paper ended up being just in the right spot!!

Then a funny thing happened......While we were in Indiana about 6 months ago we met the "Costello" family - they are a travelling band.   We were sitting having our lunch and in they drove!!!  So we were able to catch up with them again and also enjoy their fantastic concert!!  They are SO talented!

 Later in the evening our girls, the Costello twins and a few extra teens from the park joined together for a fun game of "Pit".
