~More fun times~

The other day it was sweet Emily's 8th birthday.   We went over to their trailer for her choice of dessert - popsicles and then a movie.

Look at what we get to see every day walking through our site!!!!  Incredible!
And.....several mornings we wake up to see hot air balloons going over our site.
The other night we went bowling with Todd and Stephanie - we're thinking of investing in some of these snazzy shoes!  :)
We had such a blast and enjoyed the 80's music blaring through the speakers!

The kids have spent HOURS playing lego...............
 and doing gymnastics!
The other day it was about 30 degrees and this is what one of the pools looked like!   It was packed!
The "teens" have had such a great week with other teens in the park.   They have hung out, played games together, played sand volleyball........
and water volleyball too.   SO much fun for them.
Scott went rowing with the younger three the other day.  The lake is connected to our rv park.  You can also fish here.
We had a lovely evening last night with 3 other families.  Vaughn and Dana provided the ice-cream, while the other 3 families brought the toppings.   Who said you can't have a big crowd for dessert when living in an rv!!!    At one point there were 31 people in the rv!!!

Thanks for the great evening Ticknor Family.

~Silver Spurs Rodeo~

Last Sunday after church we decided we would take the family to a rodeo.  In Osceola, FL they were having a rodeo and also a county fair.  The weather dropped to a high of 10 degrees and so being inside an arena was a good thing!
It was so much fun - they had barrel racing, bull riding, horse "bucking", calf roping etc....

Included in our rodeo ticket was a free entrance into the fair, so afterwards we headed to the fair and enjoyed looking around for a bit.
As always, we were fascinated with all the American food that is offered at the fair!!!   Look at all those turkey wings!!! At $9 a piece - that would cost us a small fortune!!
This lady was amazing with the chainsaw.   We had a great day!

~Sebastian Inlet State Park (Part 2)~

We ended up spending 3 nights at Sebastian Inlet State Park.  We LOVED it there.   It was more dolphins......

more wildlife.............
lots more fishing..................

 great views from our campsite.................
We had a fantastic time on the beach - we walked for 3 hours and found MANY beautiful shells and Bradley found "a lovely set of coconuts"!!!!   Actually he was so excited to bring it home and try and break it apart and taste the contents.......apparently coconuts go bad!!!!  The smell was disgusting!!!
Look at this gorgeous shell Becky found.
More scrounging for treasures.   Brad is trying to get a piece of fishing line out the rocks.
Another sea hare protecting itself.
Another beautiful sunrise.
A sea turtle swimming right in front of us - SO cool!
The following morning we went to Pelican Island - a National Wildlife Refuge.   We just couldn't get enough of all the beauty and wildlife here.
They had a wonderful boardwalk which took us to a lookout point overlooking the island.

Then back to the beach for more shelling.
Look at that water :)   LOVE IT SO MUCH!
Then off to the Sebastian Fishing Museum.  Such an interesting place with many things to look at, read and learn.
We watched a great movie on the commercial fishing history of Sebastian Inlet which began in the late 1800's and helped make Sebastian what it is today.

And then we washed all our shells!   These are just the ones I (Janet) found.  The kids each had their own large pile too.  We really had such a wonderful time digging deep down into the sand and pulling out these beauties!!
