~Palm Springs~

Well, we are back in the desert, at the familiar Palm Springs Thousand Trails park. We have stayed at this park many times before, and we always have such a lovely stay.

We had the privilege of spending our first few days here with our dear friends Vic and Cathy. We shared so many laughs and had a great time visiting and catching up.

We have set up our smaller tent on our site, and the kids are using it for storage.

The sunsets are absolutely stunning in the desert! Almost every night the sky is filled with these beautiful colours and with the palm trees and rolling hills the view is breathtaking.

This year we decided to leave our trailer at home, and rent one on the property down here. Of course it's not quite like our own "home on wheels", but it's still good nonetheless.
Here we all are playing a game one evening.

We love to play pickleball while we are down south! We enjoy playing in the evenings when it is a bit cooler, but they also have a morning group that is fun as well :)

~Worldmark Indio~

Our past few days were spent at the beautiful Worldmark resort in Indio! What a treat!

The resort has 2 very large pool, 5 hot tubs, kiddie pools, splash pad, lazy river - where you float around on tubes, basketball courts, tennis courts , large arcade /games room, movie theatre and so much more!

This is beautiful view from our room! There are ducks, egrets and herons in all the ponds around the park.

We were given a $25 gift card to spend at the "Lazy River Cafe" where we all enjoyed picking out some treats :)

Playing tennis at night

We all got to use these "cute" stripey blue and white towels at the pool everyday.

We have absolutely LOVED staying here and will hopefully be able to come back again one day!

~Back at it again~

Well, here we are; back on the road! We are so blessed to have this opportunity to travel down south with the whole family again.

Leaving our beautiful island on the BC Ferries.

We decided not to take our trailer down south this year. Our first few nights were spent in our new 8 man tent!!!! The first night, at Armitage County Park- in Oregon, was a little chilly, but nice nonetheless.

We always enjoy the amazing scenery on our drive.

Our second night was spent at Lake Minden Thousand Trails campground near Sacramento. We had the entire tent section to ourselves!

What a lovely view to wake up to!
