~Canyonlands National Park-Day 2~

We loved it so much we decided to go to Canyonlands for a 2nd day.  This time we did  "Island in the Sky". Same as yesterday - FABULOUS!   SO much to see, so many hikes, so many incredible views and overlooks - really just truly unbelievable!

Some of the viewpoints were very similar to the Grand Canyon.

Once again......where is Scott??  :)

This is the Mesa Arch - isn't it beautiful?

And look at that view through it!

We did this hike called "The Whale Rock".  It went up a steep mountain face and we were able to walk along the "whale's back"!   Scott thought he would wave to us all from the bottom!!!

This is actually the "whale".  We hiked to the top.

This is called "Upheaval Dome" which is at 1 500 feet deep.  It looks more like a crater than a dome.

On "top of the world"!!
