While in New Mexico we had a chance to visit the Aztec Ruins - all SO interesting how the Puebloan people built their communities and how they lived.
We were able to do a self-guided tour through the ruins and read all about the people as we walked through them.
This is the "kiva" - their communal gathering place or special purpose ceremonial building.
On our way out of New Mexico going towards Utah we saw this huge rock - "Shiprock" - wow!
Then some more beautiful scenery - this is an unbelievable part of the country.
Amazing!
