~ Bye, bye P.E.I.~

Today we ended our time on Prince Edward Island - aahh!!   We enjoyed it very much!  These are a few photos of the bright red potato fields.  The soil looks so different and we could smell the fields as we passed the harvested ones.
Once the potatoes have been harvested the seagulls seem to enjoy them !
Back over the Confederation Bridge - about half way across the bridge it started to POUR and then shortly after this beautiful rainbow appeared.   I think it was the brightest rainbow we had ever seen.  The colours were incredible and bounced right off the water.

We are now back in New Brunswick for a few more days.   This is Parlee Beach - whose waters are among the warmest north of Virginia.  It offers excellent saltwater swimming.  In the summer this beach and others are packed with people enjoying the sunshine and warm water.   We enjoyed walking along the wide expanse of sandy beach.

Having some fun on the "giant lobster".
