We had the most incredible day at Niagara Falls - the temperature was 27 degrees and we were so hot. It was lovely!! This is the Skylon Tower.
These are the "American Falls" - 10 % of the Niagara River goes this way and 90 % of the water goes..........
this way !! Aren't they just beautiful?? These are called the "Horseshoe Falls".
We walked all the along the path - both ways and the views were spectacular.
This is "Rainbow Bridge". 1/2 way across the bridge it becomes the USA. People drive very slowly across the bridge as they try to get a good photo. :)
As you get closer to the Falls this beautiful rainbow appears.
Now....there are 2 handsome men.
This is the platform in Niagara Falls, New York that the Americans use to see "our" Falls. Just as well we are Canadians as Scott would never have gone on that !!! From the Canadian side you can get the most incredible view of both falls by just walking along the parkway sidewalk.
This is where the water is about to make the "drop". Amazing!!
There is so much to see in the town of Niagara. It is very commercialized with many attractions and casinos etc.... almost like a mini Las Vegas type of feeling. This was the Guinness Book of World Records where at the entrance they had the "tallest" man and.......................
the fattest man....................................F U N N Y !!!
We walked around for many hours and waited until dark when we could see the Falls again.......this time lit up - all very pretty.
What a GREAT day.
