~Becky's 15th Birthday~

 Well.....today was a special day!!   It was Becky's 15th birthday and we celebrated it in Nova Scotia - how cool is that??   We started off in true Harper style with a crepe breakfast - yum!

 Then off to see some beautiful, quaint towns along the coast.   We stopped in Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg - all just beautiful with boats bobbing in the ocean, birds, waves, small islands, amazing looking houses etc.....

 Becky chose fish and chips for lunch and so we found this cute little restaurant right on the ocean.   The meal was delicious!!!   We don't go out much- so this was a real treat!!

 In Mahone Bay they were having a "scarecrow festival" on the weekend so we were able to see the town setting up for it.   All the stores, restaurants, houses, hotels etc....had decorated their "lawns" with scarecrow figures that they had made.

 They even had the whole "royal family" in a front yard - hilarious!

In the evening we came back "home" and celebrated with loaded natchos and a cake.   Didn't have any candles so had to use our "emergency" one that we keep in case we lose power etc....!!

 We love you Becky - thanks for a great day and for being such an amazing daughter!!
