~Fun at the campground and Greyhound Races~

We spent a nice week at Daytona Sunshine RV Resort in Daytona Beach, FL.   We had lots of fun playing card games.............

building card ``castles``.........

walking on stilts..........

playing mini golf..............

and playing volleyball.   The kids made some new friends who they enjoyed hanging out with after school each day. They swam together, played cards, mini golf, soccer, baseball, hockey, lego, made Christmas crafts, did nails and hair etc....

We drove past the Daytona International Speedway - what a HUGE place!

Next we decided we wanted to see the Greyhound Races at the Daytona Beach Kennel Club.

So we found some front row seats outside and had a blast watching the dogs race around the track.  We were the only ones NOT betting on the dogs but it was SO much fun!

They bring in the dogs and tell everyone their names and number.......

then they put them into the gates..........

and then off they go!!!!    They chase after a `motorised car`with a flapping leather flag - it was hilarious!  Then up come the results on the big score board.   We had such a fun time - but really............people sure waste their money!!!
