~Chocolate Factory and Daytona Beach~

We had a YUMMY day!   We went to Angell and Phelps chocolate factory in Daytona (since 1925) which is known for its high quality, handmade chocolates which are made fresh every day.  We had a very interesting 30 minute tour.

They had glass windows which we could look through and see all the chocolates being made.

At the end of the tour we were all given 2 samples - they were SO delicious.  They even had chocolate covered bacon - not sure about that one??   Oh yes.....did I mention the treats were YUMMY!!!

They had a shop filled with chocolate goodness!

After the tour we went to see the beach.   Aren't the palm trees beautiful?

We drove through this arch and right onto the beach!!!  That is where you park your car!!!

The sand is hard and the cars are all parked along this 23 mile stretch of beach.

The weather was a bit ominous but we enjoyed walking along the beach.
